Sr. Export Compliance Program Manager

Apple's Global Export and Sanctions Compliance (GESC) team is seeking a Sr. Export Compliance Program Manager to join their Legal group. This role is critical to the successful launch of new Apple products and involves ensuring compliance with worldwide laws governing the exports of technology and products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Complying with Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), and foreign government agencies regulations
• Researching and classifying technology, hardware, or 3rd party products
• Submitting classification requests and export license applications for controlled products and technologies
• Maintaining EAR and ITAR written compliance programs
• Developing and executing export compliance awareness trainings
• Updating policies, processes, and procedures
• Maintaining corporate records and auditing

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of export compliance experience
• Strong knowledge of EAR (categories 5, 6, 7, and 9) and ITAR (USML categories IV and XV)
• Experience with Deemed Export/Reexport reviews and license submissions
• Excellent project management and documentation skills
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering, law, international business, or related field
