Description For Quality Engineer

Arrive Logistics, a leading transportation and technology company in North America with over $2 billion in annual revenue, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring product quality through developing and executing exploratory tests. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in software QA or an IT-related field, with knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments, cloud platforms, and various testing methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing system requirements and technical documents
  • Designing and implementing manual tests
  • Creating comprehensive test plans and cases using TestRail
  • Debugging and defining corrective actions
  • Tracking quality assurance metrics
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure product stability and functionality
  • Prioritizing and planning testing activities
  • Understanding and contributing to automation scripts
  • Identifying and documenting bugs using Jira
  • Performing regression testing and developing testing processes

Responsibilities For Quality Engineer

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
  • Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases using TestRail
  • Collaborate with team to ensure stability and functionality
  • Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities
  • Understand automation scripts used by QA Automation
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs using Jira
  • Perform regression testing
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
  • Liaise with internal & external teams to identify system requirements
  • Deliver feedback and reports to the team and participate in Scrum activities

Requirements For Quality Engineer

  • 2+ years experience in software QA or in an IT related field
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
  • Some experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Some experience with automated testing strategies
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Some knowledge of API testing and tools and non-functional testing (performance/stress testing/load)
