QA Engineer

Basis Technologies is seeking a QA Engineer to join their innovative Engineering team. As a QA Engineer, you'll be an integral part of a software development team building a SaaS platform for the ad-tech industry. You'll be involved in the full software development life-cycle, from iteration planning to retrospectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the product team to understand product vision and create testing scenarios
• Contributing to broad QA initiatives
• Documenting test plans and cases, and performing test plan reviews
• Identifying areas for improvement across QA
• Researching new technologies and tools
• Being a leading voice for quality in a collaborative cross-functional team
• Designing and executing manual testing strategies
• Maintaining platform quality in a fast-paced deployment environment

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end manual testing of web-based applications
• 1+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
• 1+ years of experience working on enterprise software
• Thorough understanding of SDLC/STLC practices and tools
• Experience with test data/data verification
• Ability to analyze stories or requirements to create effective scenarios
