As our Data Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of expanding and optimizing our data architecture, working with modern cloud technologies and big data ecosystems. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with deep expertise in Python, Java, and SQL. You'll work extensively with AWS services including Redshift, S3, Glue, and Kinesis, while managing ETL workflows through Airflow. Your role will involve close collaboration with various teams, from Account Executives to Data Analytics, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Design and maintain scalable data infrastructure and automation pipelines for ETL processes
  • Develop efficient data models, workflows, and pipelines for data warehouse
  • Partner with teams to understand business needs and develop innovative data solutions
  • Support data processing and reporting on AWS cloud platform
  • Lead data normalization and governance efforts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Create and optimize custom queries for Tableau and Looker
  • Build and maintain Python-based ETL workflows with Airflow
  • Lead migration from legacy systems to cloud-based data lake

Requirements For Data Engineer

Java
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
  • 5+ years of technical experience in Data engineering
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL
  • Experience with AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Kinesis, Lambda)
  • Skilled in schema design and dimensional modeling
  • Proficient in Airflow for ETL workflows
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases
  • Knowledge of Kibana, CloudWatch, and DataDog
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project leadership experience
