BlackBerry QNX is seeking a Student Worker for Software and Test Development to join their global team in Munich. This role focuses on embedded systems development within QNX's world-leading operating system. The position offers hands-on experience with embedded systems design, virtual machine configuration, and customer-specific implementations. BlackBerry QNX is renowned for providing the foundation operating system for critical systems ranging from space cameras to autonomous vehicles and medical devices.

The role involves working with various embedded hardware units, particularly automotive ECUs based on different SoCs (Renesas, Intel, Qualcomm, TI, RPI). You'll be responsible for creating integration environments, setting up remote access systems, and implementing technical solutions as part of the core tools team.   • Interest in working with software and hardware
  • Problem-solving skills both independently and in team
  • Knowledge in networking (terminal server, SSH connections)
  • Knowledge of scripting language (BASH)
  • English language skills (written and spoken)
  • First knowledge in dealing with embedded hardware is a plus
  • First knowledge of embedded hardware/software testing is a plus
