Senior Solutions Engineer

BlackSky, a leading real-time intelligence company, is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their team in Herndon, VA. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between sales and technical aspects of BlackSky's advanced space-based intelligence platform. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll be the primary technical point of contact during the pre-sales process, working with cutting-edge technology in space-based intelligence. You'll be responsible for scoping technical solutions, supporting proposal development, and acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and project management skills.

Key responsibilities include designing solutions architecture, providing thought leadership, responding to RFPs, and coordinating with subject matter experts. You'll need at least five years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in a technical field, and a Secret level clearance (with the ability to obtain Top Secret). Familiarity with GIS, remote sensing, ISR, and AI concepts is crucial.
