  • Develop verifiable requirements and software architecture
  • Write planning specifications and assess software integration
  • Develop code and write unit tests
  • Drive software integration and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in all aspects of software development lifecycle

Requirements For Senior Avionics Software Engineer (Engines)

  • B.S. or higher in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, aerospace, or related field
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and testing real-time embedded systems
  • Experience with C/C++ and Python
  • Strong debugging skills at software/hardware boundary
  • Experience with Device Drivers
  • Experience with serial communications and networking protocols
  • Experience with git, JIRA, Confluence
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with DO-178 or NPR7150 NASA standards
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted asylum
  • Experience writing software requirements
  • Experience with Verification & Validation
