Lead Full Stack Developer

Boiler Room, a pioneering platform in underground music, is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to join their growing product team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of music content delivery and event experiences.

As the Lead Full Stack Developer, you'll be at the forefront of building best-in-class features for Boiler Room's applications. You'll manage a small team of two developers, delegating projects and tackling the most challenging problems alongside the Product and Engineering Director. Your expertise will be crucial in making key architectural decisions across the stack, ensuring applications perform at scale.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and improving features for Boiler Room's global events and content archive
• Managing and developing a team of two developers
• Making critical architectural decisions
• Contributing to the product roadmap for 2024 and beyond, with a focus on mobile application development

The ideal candidate will have:

• 6-12 months of experience in coaching or managing developers
• Extensive experience with JavaScript applications (Node.JS, React, GraphQL, TypeScript, Apollo)
• Experience in building mobile apps for iOS (Swift, React-Native, Flutter, Expo)
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Ability to work with large data sets and analytics tools
• A passion for electronic music and DJ culture

This is a part-time position, working 4 days a week, offering a great work-life balance. The role is based in London, with the flexibility to work remotely and visit the office at least once a week.
