Full Stack Developer

Borrowell is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their Platform Engineering team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, optimize, test, and maintain application code. You'll ensure that software meets both technical and business requirements while mentoring and knowledge sharing with team members. The role involves building new systems and enhancing current systems, directly impacting the lives of more than 3 million Borrowell users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using microservices architecture
• Work with C# and .NET 8 on Azure for backend development
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Collaborate with team members and participate in knowledge sharing
• Contribute to the technical roadmap of upcoming products

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience building scalable web applications on the cloud using microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications
• Strong object-oriented programming skills
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of modern JavaScript front-end frameworks like React or Angular
• Experience working at a scaleup, preferably in the fintech space
