Description For UI Developer

Bottomline Technologies, a global leader in business payments and cash management with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a UI Developer to join their team in Bangalore, India. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of Bottomline's key Platforms, working on compelling user experiences for large banks and financial institutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with product designers and UX specialists
  • Translating UX designs into UI Components
  • Participating in code reviews
  • Documenting code changes and unit test results
  • Performing production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Maintaining Bottomline's UI Design Library
  • Following release cycles and meeting deadlines
  • Assisting in collecting user requirements and developing user stories

Required skills:

  • Strong JavaScript knowledge (ES6)
  • Experience with React JS and unit testing (Jest or similar)
  • Knowledge of Micro-frontend architecture
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket)
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS (Responsive Design)
  • Object-oriented concepts using JavaScript
  • In-depth knowledge of major web browsers

Preferred skills include knowledge of single-spa, responsive design principles, Agile methodology, JIRA, Confluence, Git, and WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards.
