Brixio is seeking an experienced Cognos Developer to join their Business Intelligence team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions and reporting applications using IBM Cognos tools. The position involves creating interactive reports, dashboards, and scorecards while working closely with stakeholders to deliver critical business insights. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with Cognos BI development and strong expertise in data modeling and integration. The role offers an opportunity to work with various data sources, optimize performance, and drive data-driven decision-making. Located in Manila, Philippines, this is an on-site position with a Monday-Friday schedule. Responsibilities For Developer Cognos
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Cognos reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Cognos Analytics
- Work with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements
- Create complex, dynamic reports, multi-dimensional reports, and ad-hoc reports
- Design and maintain the Cognos Framework Manager models
- Develop and optimize data models for reporting and analytics
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Cognos reports
- Provide training and support to end users
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Stay updated with the latest IBM Cognos technologies and BI trends
Requirements For Developer Cognos
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Cognos BI development
- Experience with Cognos tools such as Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager
- Strong proficiency in IBM Cognos Suite
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
- Understanding of multidimensional data structures, data warehousing, and OLAP technologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- IBM Certified Developer – Cognos BI (preferred)
- IBM Cognos Analytics Certification (preferred)
