Description For Solution Engineer

The Solution Engineer role at CaseWare focuses on developing new features and resolving bugs using core technologies like Javascript (Angular), HTML, and CSS. This position involves driving product innovation while ensuring high-quality, reliable software delivery. Key responsibilities include:

Developing new functionality and fixing bugs based on user stories
Applying core development skills in Javascript (Angular), HTML, and CSS
Participating in code reviews and collaborating effectively with the team
Maintaining knowledge of the build system and deployment pipeline
Taking ownership of features from design through implementation
Driving operational excellence by identifying and eliminating root causes
Participating in on-call rotations and resolving operational issues
Communicating effectively across teams and representing the team externally

The ideal candidate should have:

3+ years of experience in software development
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web development principles
Experience with cloud technologies, microservices, and DevOps practices
Familiarity with version control systems and debugging tools
Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
Strong communication and team-building skills

Responsibilities For Solution Engineer

Requirements For Solution Engineer

JavaScript

3+ years of experience in software development, delivering high-quality software
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and core web development principles, frameworks and patterns
Experience in cloud technologies, microservices, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub, as well as with Network and Browser debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, Postman, Fiddler)
Proven experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies with changing priorities and working in geographically distributed cross-functional teams
Strong communication, time management, interpersonal and team-building skills
