As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you'll be part of a global team that champions curiosity, collaboration, and innovation. You'll be responsible for the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of critical production services across multiple technical disciplines.
Reporting to the SRE Manager, you'll be part of a team supporting 24x7 uptime of mission-critical services and infrastructure. You'll work independently while providing mentorship and guidance to colleagues across multiple areas of technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to software architecture, strategy, design, and code for components, subsystems, and applications
- Evaluate new technologies and software products for integration
- Work with third-party vendors to develop and integrate software
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership across team boundaries
- Ensure high standards in all forms of communication and collaboration
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps, or Software Engineer
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes at scale and containerization technologies
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Strong programming ability in an OOP language and scripting
- Expert knowledge of security best practices
- Expertise with AWS and/or GCP
- Proficiency with metrics/monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Commitment to standardization and documentation
- Strong Linux experience
- Expertise in software delivery automation, CI/CD & SDLC
- Knowledge of SRE principles (SLI, SLO, SLA, Toil, Uptime, Observability)
