Software Engineer, Emerging Talent (Consumer)

Coinbase is seeking aspiring backend engineers to join their Consumer Product Group to build the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. The role focuses on building scalable micro-services and solving complex technical problems at the intersection of web-scale applications and blockchain technology.

The Consumer Product Group is dedicated to making the Coinbase retail app the most user-friendly crypto experience, working on products including the Coinbase app, advance trade, dapps, and staking. This position specifically involves working with the Country Expansion team to customize the Coinbase app for the UK market.

The ideal candidate will write high-quality, well-tested code, build resilient and scalable micro-services, and work collaboratively with the Country Manager, engineers, product managers, and designers. They should be passionate about building an open financial system and have excellent communication skills.
