The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in TypeScript and JavaScript development, with a focus on creating large, complex applications.
Key responsibilities include optimizing the user experience of Collabora Online, implementing design mock-ups, and creating automated tests. The role requires a deep understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5 Canvas, DOM, CSS, and SASS. Experience with accessibility principles and automated testing using Cypress is a plus.
The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, passionate about Open Source, and able to work effectively in a remote environment. Strong English language skills and the ability to communicate in an online distributed team are essential. Responsibilities For Senior Front-End Developer
- Optimize and enhance the user experience of Collabora Online
- Work closely with backend, product management, community and quality assurance departments
- Implement ready-made design mock-ups
- Participate in design discussions, pro-actively suggest and implement fixes
- Create automated tests
Requirements For Senior Front-End Developer
- 3+ years of TypeScript, JavaScript front-end development experience
- Attention to detail and well versed in user interface design patterns
- Experience writing or maintaining large, complex TypeScript, JavaScript applications
- Passion for working with JavaScript/HTML5 Canvas
- Deep familiarity with DOM, CSS, SASS & asynchronous programming
- Experience debugging cross-browser issues
- Good command of English
- Open-source code contributions & community experience
- Self-motivated and reliable with passion for Open Source and the office domain
- Ability to work from home office, managing own time effectively
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and communicate in an online distributed environment
