As a Robot Field Technician, you'll be an integral part of the Operations team, responsible for managing the deployment and testing of autonomous vehicles in the field. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure successful implementations and contribute to site bringup and data collection efforts.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with support engineers for troubleshooting, interacting with customers to gather user experience feedback, developing field testing procedures, and conducting thorough product tests. You'll also be involved in evaluating operational performance, maintaining test equipment, and documenting issues and solutions.
The ideal candidate should have experience with the Linux Terminal, ability to read and edit code, and possess excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. Availability for weekend on-call support and the ability to lift 80 lbs are required. Experience with Python and a technical background in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or robotics engineering would be advantageous.
