Datadog is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Enterprise Engineering - Integrations team. This global team builds custom applications with tailored end-user experiences for Datadog employees. The role involves creating backend and full stack applications used across Datadog, including user account lifecycle platforms, device posture monitoring solutions, and e-discovery.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with teams to identify gaps and design automated solutions
  • Add and deploy features to existing applications
  • Design and build scalable full stack tools with company-wide impact
  • Identify novel opportunities for automation
  • Shape the team's direction through planning and discovery
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for troubleshooting

The ideal candidate has:

  • Expert-level experience in languages like Go or Python
  • Experience in designing, building, and deploying scalable end-user applications, preferably in AWS
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with remote team members
  • Skills in driving consensus and proposing initiatives to improve existing systems
