Distinguished Engineer Architect, Enterprise Lab Services and Operations Architect

Dell Technologies is seeking a visionary Distinguished Engineer/Architect to lead the design and strategic direction of their Lab infrastructure, operations and services. This senior technical role requires extensive expertise in networking, security, enterprise architecture, and data systems, with 15+ years of experience in the field.

The position involves architecting and evolving lab infrastructure, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, and driving innovation in operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing roadmaps for lab services, managing capacity planning, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic advisory responsibilities, requiring the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise networking, security, and data infrastructure, with additional experience in data center design being highly valued.

As a Distinguished Engineer, you'll collaborate with executive leadership, including CTO, CISO, and CIO, to shape enterprise technology roadmaps. You'll also mentor senior engineers, lead technical communities of practice, and represent Dell Technologies in industry forums.

The position requires an advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with certifications like TOGAF, CCNP/CCIE, or CISSP being advantageous. Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, high-performance computing, or edge computing is a plus.
