Join DEPT®'s Technology Campus as a Backend Engineering Intern and become part of our Experience & Engineering business team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technical solutions for high-profile clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com, and Just Eat Takeaway.
As an intern, you'll be immersed in our talent program, receiving professional training, participating in interactive workshops on the latest technologies, and benefiting from intensive 1-on-1 guidance from top developers. Your responsibilities will include integrating different databases and services, working with CMSs, Algolia, Postgres, Stripe, and Redis, and collaborating with A-list clients.
We're looking for a tech-savvy individual with strong English skills, an impressive portfolio/GitHub, a passion for learning new frameworks, and possibly some part-time developer experience. You should have an affinity for social media, advertising, and technology.

Responsibilities For Backend Engineering Intern
- Integrate different databases and services (e.g., CMS, CRMs, ERPs)
- Ensure data is in the right place at the right time
- Work with CMSs, Algolia, Postgres, Stripe, and/or Redis
- Collaborate with A-list clients such as bol.com, de Bijenkorf, Univé, and Etos
Requirements For Backend Engineering Intern
- Ability to communicate in technical English
- Strong portfolio/GitHub (to be submitted with application)
- Passion for learning new frameworks
- Possibly working as a part-time developer
- Affinity with social media, advertising, and technology
- Available full-time 5 days a week from February 2025 for 5-6 months
- Must be living and studying in the Netherlands
