Principal iOS Developer

DEPT® is seeking a Principal iOS Developer to join their Digital Products Team. In this role, you'll:

• Help set the technical choices and direction of the DEPT® mobile practice
• Help clients set up and architect complex apps that are making a material impact on the world
• Work on mostly greenfield apps for well-known brands
• Collaborate with other Deptsers, both developers and designers
• Commit code daily and push up PRs for peer review
• Review PRs from peers
• Actively help improve practices and approaches to building apps
• Help shape and develop best practices, innovation, and community involvement for the iOS team
• Lead the sharing of learning and projects internally, to the tech community, and to prospective clients
• Lead and collaborate with others to solve technical, people, design, and product challenges

The ideal candidate:

• Is passionate about mobile development and stays up-to-date with the latest trends
• Has deep experience in UIKit/CoreAnimation and can bring interesting animations to life
• Is experienced with Objective C, Swift, and SwiftUI
• Has a good understanding of the network and data layer
• Is delivery-focused and driven to ship products to users
• Loves UI/UX and is always looking for ways to push boundaries
