Description For Project Manager Global Security Design & Engineering

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Project Manager to join their Global Security Design & Engineering (GSDE) Team. This role will be responsible for delivering technological solutions that minimize complexity while unifying security systems across six international geographies and multiple business segments. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of project management experience leading enterprise-wide deployments, with strong skills in IT infrastructure, software deployment, and security systems.

The position involves leading complex security technology projects, managing capital construction projects, software deployments, and system migrations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including security business partners, operations, enterprise technology, and facilities to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include monitoring vendor performance, tracking project progress, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to security protocols.

Responsibilities For Project Manager Global Security Design & Engineering

  • Lead efforts to expand and mature physical security technologies across the enterprise
  • Manage portfolio of capital funded construction projects, software deployments, and complex system migrations
  • Lead and manage complex security technology projects across segments and regions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met
  • Ensure change management considerations are identified and implemented
  • Monitor vendor performance and enforce performance guidelines
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools
  • Track actual spend, report variances, and adjust future forecasts

Requirements For Project Manager Global Security Design & Engineering

  • 8+ years experience as a project manager leading enterprise wide application level deployments
  • Solid personal communication and diplomacy skills
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure lifecycle management
  • Experience managing software deployments or upgrade cycles
  • Knowledge and experience with ticketing and project management systems
  • Experience with editing/mark-up programs such as Bluebeam Revu
  • Ability to read construction drawings
  • PMP and/or CSPM certification
  • Bachelor's degree
