Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop cutting-edge recommendation and personalization algorithms for Disney+, Hulu, ABC, and ESPN. This role focuses on building intelligent systems that serve hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
The position involves developing and maintaining state-of-the-art recommendation algorithms, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to apply advanced machine learning techniques. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ML models for content recommendation and user personalization.

- Develop and prototype state-of-the-art Deep Neural Net algorithms for recommendation systems
- Deliver conceptual solutions into production-level implementation at scale
- Learn and work with complex streaming recommendation systems
- Identify opportunities to improve business operations and develop solutions
- Drive data-driven business decisions
- Communicate effectively both written and orally
Requirements For Senior Machine Learning Engineer
- Strong proficiency in tensorflow or pytorch
- Experience building and deploying full stack ML pipelines
- Track record of building effective recommendation systems
- Experience with cloud services in production (particularly AWS)
- Understanding of statistical concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in developing scalable machine learning products
- 5+ years writing production-level, scalable Python code
