As an Entry Level Engineer at DMC, you'll have the opportunity to work in one of four key service areas:
- Manufacturing Automation & Intelligence: Program industrial equipment for factory floors, including controllers, servos, and user interfaces.
- Test & Measurement Automation: Develop automated test systems using LabVIEW, TestStand, C#, and Python for various industries.
- Embedded Development: Work on embedded system development for consumer and business products, vision systems, and IoT devices.
- Application Development: Contribute to cloud, web, mobile, and desktop applications using various programming languages and frameworks.
You'll collaborate with project teams of different sizes, develop relationships with customers, and assist senior engineers in scoping and proposing new projects. Responsibilities For Entry Level Engineer
- Program industrial equipment for factory floors (Manufacturing Automation)
- Develop automated test systems using LabVIEW, TestStand, C#, and Python (Test & Measurement)
- Work on embedded system development for consumer and business products (Embedded Development)
- Contribute to cloud, web, mobile, and desktop applications (Application Development)
- Collaborate with project teams of different sizes
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Assist senior engineers in scoping, estimating, and proposing new projects
- Manage and complete tasks by prioritizing needs and understanding risks and roadblocks
- Develop and grow leadership skills
- Travel to customer manufacturing sites for commissioning solutions (25-50% travel required for Manufacturing Automation team)
Requirements For Entry Level Engineer
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.4
- Interest and ability to program, including text-based languages and object-oriented concepts
- Proven ability to learn new skills quickly and continuous desire to improve and grow
- Experience collaborating with teams and interacting with stakeholders
