Software Engineer, Performance Platform

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer for their Performance Platform team to help build foundational tools that impact system performance across the organization. This role is part of the Developer Platform organization and focuses on making performance an integral part of DoorDash's software development lifecycle.

The position offers an opportunity to work on critical infrastructure components that enable DoorDash engineers to measure and optimize their services' performance. You'll be developing tools, frameworks, and libraries that help identify and address performance, scalability, and efficiency limitations across the entire ecosystem.

As a member of this team, you'll collaborate with engineers, technical product managers, and engineering managers throughout the organization to deliver high-impact initiatives. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in backend platform/infrastructure development, with expertise in languages like Java, Kotlin, or Go.
