Description For DevOps Engineer

Dun & Bradstreet, a global leader in data analytics with over 6,000 team members worldwide, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Digital Platforms team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with AWS infrastructure for custom-developed solutions, focusing on implementing, maintaining, and supporting cloud architecture. The position requires a mix of technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, programming skills, and DevOps practices.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of DevOps experience, bringing strong knowledge of AWS, CI/CD processes, and various programming languages including Python, JavaScript, and Java. You'll be working on building scalable and fault-tolerant designs, developing RESTful APIs, and managing cloud infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer

  • Collaborate with developers and operations teams to build and deploy custom solutions in AWS
  • Develop and maintain RESTful application services and APIs from a Python based event driven platform
  • Build concurrent, scalable and fault tolerant designs
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Be on call when required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience managing production cloud infrastructure at scale (AWS)
  • Experience with CI/CD implementation processes
  • Strong experience with Salt, Terraform, AWS CDK
  • Strong experience with scripting/programming languages
  • Good understanding of Windows, Unix/Linux operating systems and networking
  • Minimum 2 years of high-tech industry and/or IT work experience in DevOps roles
  • Excellent communication skills
