Principal Project Engineer - APAC

Energy Vault (NYSE) is a global company dedicated to enabling a sustainably energized world. We're seeking a Principal Project Engineer for the APAC region to manage and optimize the design and execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead project execution, ensuring alignment of scope, schedule, and stakeholders
• Identify and address gaps in project scope and responsibilities
• Apply engineering principles to solve project issues
• Specify equipment like transformers and switchgear
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders
• Review project design documents
• Lead BESS project commissioning
• Provide feedback to improve internal processes and products

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical or power system)
• 5+ years of experience leading project design in large power stations or utility-scale power projects
• 3+ years of BESS or PV project experience (preferred)
• PE certification or equivalent (preferred)
• Familiarity with local permitting processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• Comfort in fast-paced environments
• Passion for sustainability
