Fullstack/ Frontend Software Engineer, Employee Experience

Envoy is seeking a Fullstack/Frontend Software Engineer for their Employee Experience team. This role is part of the core features team for Envoy Workplace, which launched in May 2023 and has been the company's fastest-growing revenue stream. The ideal candidate will lead major product features, design systems, and mentor other engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help scale the Employees product used by tens of thousands daily
• Design core frontend and backend software components
• Drive ambitious system design and architecture
• Lead engineering projects to completion
• Advocate for quality while maintaining ambitious product goals
• Focus on end-user experience for both Envoy customers and external developers

Technical Stack:

• Kotlin and Ruby on Rails for backend
• Ember, React, and TypeScript for frontend
• Postgres for database
• AWS for infrastructure

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering or coding experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field
• Comfortable in a fast-moving organization
• Passionate about product and working with enterprise-sized businesses
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
• Enthusiastic about learning and growing at Envoy
• Intellectually curious and ambitious

This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate should be excited about working in person at the San Francisco HQ, with a hybrid work environment requiring presence in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday).

Envoy offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $170K-$190K annually for candidates in the San Francisco/Bay Area, equity for all full-time roles, and great benefits.
