Extreme Reach is seeking a Platform Software Developer for a hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-stack development position working across multiple platforms including Axiom App, GA3, Promostream, Sendplus, Quickprint Pro, Adsend, and various Print and Digital TV Portals. The role involves both development and support responsibilities, requiring expertise in multiple technologies including .NET, PHP, C++, Java, and Angular. The position offers a blend of hands-on coding, system maintenance, and customer support duties. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development skills, database expertise, and the ability to work with various programming languages and frameworks. This role provides an opportunity to work with diverse technologies while maintaining and enhancing business-critical applications in the digital content delivery space.
Responsibilities For Platform Software Developer
- Support Desk / First line customer support
- Application level support (Level 3) and support on installation of new sites and upgrades
- Design, build, test and deploy software applications and features
- Carry software products through the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Write clean, concise and efficient code
- Manage code documentation and version control
- Troubleshoot and debug software
- Work with business analysts to define software requirements
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to production issues
- Deploy stand-alone applications and assist with infrastructure configuration
- Undertake database maintenance
- Write clean UI using Angular / PHP
- Database management and maintenance
Requirements For Platform Software Developer
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (.NET, PHP, C++, Node.js, MySQL & Java)
- Back-end & front-end development expertise
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
- Experience with version control
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong and clear documentation skills & experience
- Fluent in English
