Founding AI Engineer, Fira

Fira is seeking a Founding AI Engineer to lead the development of their financial AI agent platform. As the first hire, you'll be instrumental in building cutting-edge LLM applications for investment firms, focusing on accurate financial analysis and research automation.

The role combines deep technical expertise in AI/ML with practical software engineering. You'll be responsible for developing the entire AI stack, from designing and implementing the agentic LLM system to creating robust evaluation frameworks. The position requires strong skills in Python and TypeScript, along with experience in building LLM applications.

Working directly with the founding team of successful technical entrepreneurs, you'll have significant autonomy in technical decisions and architecture. The company has recently completed Y Combinator's winter batch and secured funding, showing strong market traction.
