Software Engineer (TypeScript, React, AWS)

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in TypeScript, React, and AWS to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using TypeScript and React.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Implement serverless architecture and services using AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.).
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Our office is located in The Sharp Project, Manchester, with great transport links and free onsite parking. The team follows a primarily remote work schedule, with occasional requirements to attend the office for workshops, meetings, and events. Desks are available for flexible use.

Work hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
