Senior Engineer Manufacturing Systems Engineering (RTD Engineer)

GlobalFoundries (GF) is seeking a Senior Engineer for Manufacturing Systems Engineering to join their team in Singapore. As one of the world's leading semiconductor foundries, GF manufactures complex integrated circuits that power billions of electronic devices globally.

The role focuses on developing and enhancing factory automation capabilities through intelligent real-time dispatching, scheduling, and workflow execution systems. You'll be working with Applied Material's Advanced Productivity Family (APF) suite, implementing RTD rules and automation workflows that drive manufacturing operational excellence.

This position offers a unique blend of software engineering and manufacturing systems optimization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production Control, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, and others to develop and optimize intelligent production business models. The role requires strong technical skills in programming, database management, and system administration, combined with an understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities include maintaining high system availability, performing application administration, and continuously improving performance metrics. You'll be working with modern technologies including Java, JavaScript, SQL, and Linux environments, while managing critical manufacturing systems.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, combined with programming expertise and system administration skills.
