Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Platform

At the Cloud Platform team in Engineering Platform, Gojek is seeking passionate, entrepreneurial technical leaders to build scalable applications and teams. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for the overall success and growth of your team, working closely with engineering leadership to build cutting-edge PaaS solutions aimed at improving the engineering experience at Gojek.

Key responsibilities include:

• Improving code structure and architecture for testability and maintainability
• Demonstrating in-depth understanding of multiple programming languages/paradigms
• Contributing to new language/framework POCs and participating in design reviews
• Ensuring strong documentation and tracking of design and architecture evolution
• Prioritizing work based on quality, tech-debt, and delivery trade-offs

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4-5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale applications
• Prior experience managing cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS)
• Expertise in areas such as Golang/Python programming, event/stream processing framework development, engineering tooling, and Kubernetes administration

The Cloud Platform team is at the heart of Gojek, responsible for engineering productivity across 500+ microservices.
