AI Architect, Speech AI

Google Cloud is seeking an AI Architect specializing in Speech AI to join their team. This role involves serving as a trusted technical advisor, understanding and addressing customer challenges in automated speech recognition (ASR) and related fields. The ideal candidate will guide customers through the practical challenges of deploying and maintaining speech systems, covering topics such as data pre-processing, speaker diarization, model monitoring, and feature management.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Creating and delivering high-quality technical content for diverse audiences
2. Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of speech solutions
3. Representing the company at industry events and conferences

The role requires expertise in:

• Conversation AI applications, CCAI, or similar areas
• Speech recognition, natural language processing (NLP), text-to-speech (TTS), and related algorithms
• Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Conversational AI applications, chatbots, voice assistants, or similar technologies

Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud-based ML platforms, building and deploying speech recognition systems, contact center technologies, knowledge of large language models, and familiarity with speech processing tools.
