Description For Crisis and Resilience Regional Manager, Data Centers

Google is seeking a Crisis and Resilience Regional Manager for their Data Centers division. This role is part of the Risk Insights Governance and Operational Resilience team, which is responsible for maintaining risk and resiliency governance programs that support data center operations. The position involves leading crisis response, developing and implementing crisis management programs, and ensuring business continuity under adverse conditions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in crisis management, program development, and stakeholder communication. They will be responsible for coordinating responses to crises, minimizing business disruption, and acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders both regionally and globally. The role requires the ability to work in a follow-the-sun model, responding during and off business hours.

Key responsibilities include developing and improving crisis management programs at site, regional, and global levels, driving governance initiatives, and delivering training and exercises. The position offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $139,000-$207,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities For Crisis and Resilience Regional Manager, Data Centers

  • Oversee and coordinate responses to crises, minimizing business disruption and acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders in your region and globally
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the crisis management program at site, regional, and global levels, staying ahead of emerging threats
  • Drive crisis management governance and ensure seamless coordination with all business partners
  • Assess program risks, priorities, and dependencies, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring effective execution
  • Develop and deliver crisis management training and exercises, including integrated exercises that support broader organizational initiatives

Requirements For Crisis and Resilience Regional Manager, Data Centers

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience in setting up a (enterprise) crisis management capability, leading crisis response and delivering crisis management training
  • Experience in crisis/incident management, resilience, business continuity, or security
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and communication
