As a Customer Engineer III in Infrastructure Modernization for Cloud Public Sector, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers and help shape the future of businesses of all sizes use technology to connect with customers, employees and partners. You will work with state, local, and public sector clients including state, county, and local municipal agencies.

Your responsibilities include identifying business and technical requirements, conducting technical discovery, and architecting client solutions. You will deliver product messaging for the Google Cloud Platform through various means such as presentations, demonstrations, and technical documents. Additionally, you will drive recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, and application infrastructure to implement complete solutions and provide best practices to optimize Google Cloud platform effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, extensive experience in cloud computing and customer-facing roles, and knowledge of modern application development and deployment. You should be able to work with emerging technologies and have experience with scalable architectures, API management, and application security patterns.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $142,000-$214,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. It is part of Google's hybrid workplace, allowing for both remote and in-office work options.
