Customer Engineer, Security, Financial Services, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer specializing in Security for Financial Services. This role requires a seasoned professional with 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture and cybersecurity. As a Customer Engineer, you will be a subject matter expert in Security and Compliance, partnering with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to customers.

Your responsibilities will include identifying business opportunities, resolving technical security and compliance issues, and sharing expertise in security, privacy, and regulatory compliance. You'll work closely with Google Cloud products, demonstrating and prototyping integrations for customers and partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, experience with Cloud Identity and Access Management, Network Security, Data Security, and Regulatory Compliance frameworks. You should be comfortable creating Security Architectures and have knowledge of various compliance standards such as ISO 27001, FedRAMP, PCI, and HIPAA.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $142,000-$214,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The position may require travel to customer sites and industry events, where you'll act as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
