Scaled Solutions Engineer

Google's gTech Ads team is seeking a Scaled Solutions Engineer to join their Scaled Technical Solutions team. This role is critical within gTech Ads, focusing on both solutioning and scaling at a global level. The ideal candidate will partner with regional stakeholders, product teams, and specialists to re-envision how gTech Ads goes to market across customer segments.

As a Scaled Solutions Engineer, you'll be responsible for collecting requirements, providing guidance, and implementing best practices for ad products and technologies. You'll proactively scope, design, and build a series of solutions and best practices at a global level for customers, sellers, and partners. Additionally, you'll adapt existing bespoke ads solutions created by regional teams into globally scaled solutions that can support customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning the solution lifecycle from discovery to launch
• Handling maintenance, bugs, and feature requests
• Managing deprecation for a portfolio of scaled solutions
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to translate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related technical field, with experience in systems design, coding in general-purpose programming languages, and working with web and cloud technologies. Experience with ad tech products, project management skills, and excellent communication abilities are highly valued.
