Google is seeking a Senior Anti-Abuse Security Developer to join their Google Ads team, focusing on building industry-leading defenses against sophisticated automated and distributed spam attacks targeting Google's advertising ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of security engineering and ad fraud prevention, requiring expertise in malware analysis, botnet infrastructure, and fraud detection.

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $166,000-$244,000 plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The role can be based in several major tech hubs including Waterloo, Kirkland, Mountain View, Los Angeles, or New York.

As a Senior Anti-Abuse Security Developer, you'll be part of Google's Security team, working to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Your responsibilities will include analyzing malware, investigating ad fraud incidents, implementing data collection systems for fraud detection, and building scalable defense mechanisms against various attack vectors.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in security assessments, security protocols, and coding in general-purpose languages. Experience with reverse engineering, malware analysis, and mobile platform security is crucial. You'll work closely with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.
