Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Productivity, Google Cloud Platforms

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Engineering Productivity team within Google Cloud Platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software development, data structures/algorithms, and experience with embedded operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and test product or system development code
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices
• Contribute to documentation and educational content
• Triage and resolve product or system issues
• Participate in or lead design reviews

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products
• 1+ year of experience with software design and architecture
• 3+ years of experience working with embedded operating systems

Preferred qualifications include a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, technical leadership experience, and experience developing accessible technologies.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $161,000-$239,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, with specific compensation determined by factors such as location, skills, and experience.
