Join Google Cloud's innovative TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) team as a Silicon Validation Engineer focusing on HBM technology. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of AI/ML hardware acceleration, working on cutting-edge TPU technology that powers Google's most demanding AI/ML applications. You'll be responsible for post-silicon validation of Cloud TPU projects, creating test plans and content for various subsystems in the AI/ML System on a Chip (SoC).
Working within the ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization, you'll collaborate with architects, designers, verification engineers, and software/firmware teams to validate functional, power, performance, and electrical characteristics of TPU silicon. This work directly contributes to delivering high-quality designs for next-generation data center accelerators.
The position requires expertise in High Bandwidth Memory/Double Data Rate (HBM/DDR) technology, silicon validation, and hardware debugging. You'll leverage your skills in Python for automation development and work with hardware emulation platforms. Your work will directly impact Google's AI infrastructure, which powers services used by billions of people worldwide.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about hardware validation, AI acceleration, and working at the intersection of hardware and software. You'll be part of Google's mission to shape the future of hyperscale computing and contribute to products that have global impact, including Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform.
