Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Data Center Security and Compliance to join their team. This role is part of the Compliance, Audit, and Policy (CAP) team, whose mission is to deliver industry-leading Data Center compliance through effective partnerships and proactive programs. The ideal candidate will help develop a culture where security, risk, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process.
As a Technical Program Manager, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced environment, innovate, improve and exceed business expectations.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Data Center teams to ensure program alignment with audit/compliance expectations, coordinating and executing on-site audits, leading cross-functional collaborations to drive the development of the Data Center compliance program, and evaluating the effectiveness of existing controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience), 5 years of experience in program or technical project management, and experience in information and technology compliance and audit programs. Preferred qualifications include relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM), experience in large-scale program management, and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
