As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to explain analyses and recommendations to executives as well as discuss technical tradeoffs with engineers.
Key responsibilities include learning new processes and technical applications, collaborating with Engineering on internal applications and process changes, working with product management on tool and workflow design, managing projects and deliverables, and analyzing quality, performance, and process efficiency to drive improvements.
