Description For Technical Program Manager III, New Product Introduction, Cloud Infrastructure

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager III for New Product Introduction in Cloud Infrastructure. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years of program management experience, with a focus on new product introduction for software or hardware products. The position involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects, managing the entire product life-cycle, and driving technical directions across teams.

Key responsibilities include shaping technical direction, managing escalations, guiding alignment on timelines and goals, and driving platform infrastructure engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience with machine learning, and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.

As part of the Platforms Project Management Organization (PMO) team, you'll work specifically with the Machine Learning (ML) System PMO team, leading programs that build and deliver ML Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) systems for internal product areas and Cloud customers.

  • Lead technical program management for machine learning system New Product Introduction (NPI) across all phases of the product life-cycle
  • Shape technical direction across multiple teams, adding value to various engineering efforts
  • Manage escalations and unblock obstacles, ensuring all leadership/stakeholders are aware of progress/blockers on a continuous basis
  • Guide alignment on timelines, goals, and deliverables of related projects and teams, drive strategic and tactical decisions throughout all organizations and levels
