  • Support subsea cable projects with marine engineering analyses, technical guidance, and recommendations
  • Evaluate cable route designs by leading route working groups, analysis of survey data and fault histories, and conduct risk assessments
  • Review marine installation procedures to ensure quality and cost effective delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assume project management responsibilities for complete subsea cable systems
  • Provide thought leadership and forward-looking recommendations for survey and installation technologies, train other team members on marine engineering matters

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Subsea Marine Specialist

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • 3 years of experience of cable route engineering, survey and marine installation methods and technologies
  • Experience with vendor management and logistics
  • Experience in networking with knowledge in network infrastructure planning
  • Experience working on cable ships or survey vessels
  • Knowledge of cable lay dynamics
  • Knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS) systems or Makai products
