Responsibilities For Technical Writer Manager, Google Security Operations
- Lead and mentor a team of technical writers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development opportunities for team members
- Define and implement the content strategy for Google Security Operations documentation, aligning it with the overall product roadmap and business objectives
- Establish and maintain processes to ensure consistency and quality across all documentation
- Oversee the planning, creation, and maintenance of user guides, tutorials, API documentation, white papers, and other technical content
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to stakeholders
- Stay informed about the latest developments in Security Operations and adapt content strategy accordingly
- Be responsible for and manage the document portion of the product launch process
