Description For Test Engineering Team Lead

As a Test Engineering Team Lead for Google Cloud, you'll shape the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration, focusing on TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) technology. You'll lead a team responsible for ATE test program development and characterization for NPI and High Volume Manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Driving test development projects for DFT structural tests, IP-level tests, functional tests, memory and logic repair, and eFuse programming.
  2. Developing strategies for SoC Product NPI, bring-up, verification, characterization, and qualification support.
  3. Providing support for production, including test program upgrades, volume data analytics, and yield improvement.

You'll work with cutting-edge technology that powers Google's most demanding AI/ML applications, contributing to products used by millions worldwide. The role requires expertise in test engineering, product engineering, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities For Test Engineering Team Lead

  • Lead the team responsible for ATE test program development and characterization for NPI and pass to High Volume Manufacturing
  • Drive test development projects, including DFT structural tests, IP-level test, functional tests, memory and logic repair, and eFuse programming
  • Develop and execute strategies for SoC Product NPI, bring-up, verification, characterization, and qualification support
  • Provide back-stop support for production, including test program upgrade and release, volume data analytics, test time reduction and yield improvement, and RMA analysis

Requirements For Test Engineering Team Lead

Python
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in test engineering or product engineering
  • Experience developing, debugging, and bringing up tests on Advantest equipment for High-Performance Computing (HPC) products in NPI or HVM environments
  • Experience leading and managing people or projects
