Description For Vendor Operations Manager I, Trust and Safety

In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and delivering vendor operations. You will lead the day-to-day vendor operations and manage vendor performance with transparent metrics, data-driven decisions and industry leading vendor management techniques. You will be responsible for managing and delivering Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for your workflows. You will possess the ability to work globally and cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. You will identify, prioritize and implement process and automation opportunities to continuously improve and scale operations.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google's products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities: • Manage vendor operations for large-sized vendor teams and delivery. Manage Purchase Orders, invoices and other vendor related activities on a day-to-day basis such as tools access, on-boarding, training, etc. • Establish and maintain alignment with Trust and Safety enforcement teams. Collaborate with stakeholders internal and external and drive projects, set up new teams or workflows and share insights to improve the overall quality of our vendor operations and make our products safer. • Lead strategic, large-scale, complex or time-sensitive projects from concept to launch by defining objectives, dependencies, risks, owners. Monitor, measure and communicate project progress, potential risks or delays and performance to teams, executives and other sponsors. • Lead vendor selection, forecasting, resource and budget planning for vendor operations. Contribute to the long-term operational strategy and support model decisions for the workflows.

Requirements For Vendor Operations Manager I, Trust and Safety

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in operations or business management, and vendor management
  • 5 years of experience using analytics or applying project management tools to address business issues
