Description For Pre-Sales Engineer

At Gradle Inc., we're seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to play a critical role in helping our customers optimize developer productivity. You'll work closely with customers, prospects, and partners, guiding them on how to improve software build and testing processes using our Develocity solution.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you'll:

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to identify and communicate Develocity's potential in customer environments
  • Deliver inspiring demos, presentations, workshops, and product trials
  • Provide technical recommendations on orchestrating, testing, and optimizing software builds
  • Work with Engineering SMEs to implement high-value use cases
  • Become a trusted Developer Productivity technical advisor
  • Educate Sales colleagues on product knowledge
  • Maintain FAQs and communicate customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams

We're looking for someone with:

  • 10+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Consulting, IT Architecture, Build Engineering, or DevOps
  • Familiarity with SDLC tools, build tools, VCSs, CI/CD tooling, container technologies, and artifact repositories
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
  • A continuous learning mindset
