Staff Engineer, Production Operations

Greenlight Financial Technology, a leading family fintech company serving over 6 million parents and kids, is seeking a Staff Engineer, Production Operations to join their growing team. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering in cloud infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

As a Staff Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining highly reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure and systems. Key responsibilities include leading complex technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and solving critical scalability challenges. You'll work with modern technologies including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and various monitoring tools like Datadog and Prometheus.

The ideal candidate brings expert-level knowledge in AWS services, strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, and deep understanding of distributed systems. You'll be expected to drive architectural improvements, implement robust monitoring solutions, and lead incident response efforts.
