Staff Engineer

HomeBuddy is seeking a Staff Engineer to join their remote IT team in a full-time capacity. This role focuses on architectural design and decision-making for large-scale, high-load systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PHP and Laravel (or Symfony), as well as a proven track record of facilitating architectural decisions across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating activities aimed at architectural design, without direct involvement in coding or hands-on implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing technical solutions that will be implemented by multiple development teams of varying sizes.

To excel in this position, you should have strong communication skills, with an upper intermediate or above (B2+) English level, as interviews will be conducted in English. You should be comfortable working in a remote environment and have the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
